This, he paints some of the best digital landscapes. Wish he focused on that more. Sometimes they have a Hudson River School kind of vibe going. I don't support anyone on patreon but I would if he just painted landscapes full time

The filter look imo comes from the value range being to compressed (compare with the blacks on the figures and vehicle - should definitely be some darks in the cracks of the rocks atleast) and the strong saturated reds in the shadows which seem to not be present in the rest of the image. It's just incongruent.
