I'd say this one is serial because in terns of personal connection memes it's the second of the LSD microdosing era, first that was actually executed in a way that didn't take like 30 hours over a few months.

First attempt to spearment with putting highlights and bright colors and weird contrasting colors as skin tones and idk a bunch of other stuff. It looks like the kind of thing that someone taking a small amount of LSD at 10 in the morning would probably execute.

And then for nothing personel memes it's also kind of my go-to meme about both muh alcoholism and muh substance misgoofs.

Plus it was kind of like I was undoing a wrong by the one they call wilsmif after the first painting of him was set on fire.

My argument: If you've NEVER experimented with substance misuse you're not going to make it. You're limiting your education into how the mind functions and perception works, and you're handicapping your ability to challenge and evolve your art style and aesthetic approach. Being teetotal and/or sober doesn't make you special, it makes you a teenager.

It's interesting how acrylic color mixing isn't even relevant enough for a mention, guess it's close enough to oil.

I don't use browns or blacks this year other than a few exceptions. But basically everything I'm doing has "whites" in it.

And I don't mix more than 2 or 3 colors at a time normally (excluding all the "whites" I mix in like gesso and retarder and gloss and white. It's just a process of having the main schlop pile and pulling a new color in when it gets low.

What do you do art on? Would you recommend it? Do you regret any of the dependencies you've developed? Were the things you regretted not trying earlier. General thoughts etc.

For artfags that got sober: any tips on how to stay focused and creative and "right brained" without the need to fuck up your brain guts with substances?

For artfags that are teetotal (aint do no shit thats fun): How? Why? Is it a choice based on preserving your brain/body/mind or is it just that you don't have access to weird shit? Are you just like a double-focused sex prevert instead? Do you plan on eventually making mistakes just for the experience or is your endgame just cling to childhood innocence and ignorance forever?
