For me? yes it is, though it just my opinion.
I switch from Installation art after find out manga are a much more powerful tool for artists, Im now trying to make drawing manga as my career.

Krenz self-taught for over 8 years, he's been through everything everyone could possibly encounter on studying art(or manga, or maybe illustration), that makes him good at hunting down your weak spot/problems, he's course did help me to improve my skill.
