I think you are doing great. It is okay to take inspiration from your favourite artist, maybe look to more than one source for it so you can really discover a personally important style or method or technique that you click with, that you otherwise wouldn't have found if you just focused on comparing yourself to the one or two influential artists. Fundamentals are king, so if you pay a little more attention to that, you will arrive at your own style naturally, in time.

Don't be too sporadic, you can paint whatever you want. But try to focus on one subject matter let's say if you want to draw/paint robots. Do at least 3 or 6 of them, then upload them one by one, before moving on to another subject. IG's format is always keened on 3 squared photos. I think the normal way is to find art-featuring accounts that already have hundreds of thousands of follows and ask them to share your work with an @ to your account. Most of them have a set way to do so (ex. you need to tag your art with a certain tag that they track.)

Keep an eye out for artifically inflated follower counts. A lot of art promo accounts on IG are often owned by a single party. They buy followers and then charge for a promo post thinking you're getting good value and exposure but in reality it's all bullshit.

Glad to see you're still churning out a lot of work, and damn, your linework. But I wish you took a bit more care with drawing and rendering tits to convey their weight, especially in your pinup drawings. They look like 70s porn star implants that haven't had time to settle. I think it might be because you're spacing the breasts too far apart and the transition from breast to the chest/rib/armpit is too sharp.

Can't think of an artist right now with a similar rendering style to yours right now, but far left figure in pic related is an example of gravity defying breasts that still look really soft and erotic. Kinu Nishimura does rock hard looking breasts that also look really good, but her figures get pretty stylized.

I wasted time on that /hywg/ on /co/. If people think /ic/ is crab bucket, that webcomic gen on /co/ is on a whole different level. If you're going to go to drunkduck, smackjeeves, etcetera then yeah you're right in that those places are dead. However, there's still Webtoon/Tapastic. I heard that Tapastic's community is very vocal and alive. Pixiv has "Pixiv Sketch" on their frontpage where amateur fanartists, webcomic/doujin creators and even professional mangakas stream their work for free. You might want to check those out. If you're gonna want to hang out with manga creators, why not pick the ones actually doing shit and on the proper platforms unlike the ones on /co/ who are mostly questionable and has low standards.
