I can't stand his videos and work.
He clearly can paint well but he chooses to draw these mangled unappealing calarts characters with wonky perspective.

His ambient occlusion video is probably the most useful lesson he's made. If you want a quick and efficient lesson on color check out Mike Azevedo's instead because I've yet to see a lesson as short, applicable, and straight to the point as his - for digital at least.

Is it worth learning color theory right now if my b/w values still stink? I guess there's no reason why I can't still learn about values and color theory at the same time.

Or at least use the shitty greyscale to color method until I get better.
