how so?

is this fully capable of doing professional work?

I've always ended up on photoshop because i've started on this at first and tried csp but got annoyed with how i had to keep changing my macros for each software.

I generally want to just stick with one software to be as comfy as possible, i really liked sketchbook for copic colors, could you do something like this on kritika?

>> No.3465734

>>3465444
Krita is totally capable of delivering professional work. Maybe photoshop has some crazy photo manipulation tools, that I missed out on in my 3 years of using it. But it's likely most people would be better off with Krita. (If you actually at how people are uaing it.)
Krita is different you don't have a seperate eraser, you rather toggle it with 'e' or swap to the previous brush preset. For me Kritas smudge brushes perform better than photoshop ones and with 4.0 we got multi-threaded brushes.
I'm shilling for Krita, because Adobe is an evil corporation, that restricts is users with DRM and does other shady things.
No source code = No control
Krita will thrive

It's not for everyone. I need to have wide RGB color sliders for precise colorpicking. I have a rather unusual way of thinking about color, coming from a scientific background.
I still need to play around with custom python scripts now that it's so easy to integrate into Krita.
You should try RGB sliders when doing some color study or so. Think in term of "is this bluer? Or do I need more red or green?". It's incredebly precise compared to other color picking methods and hue variations come naturally.

I don't really get what you're going on about man, you can quickly enter fullscreen canvas, and exit just as quickly to have the whole interface at your disposal. I think you just have autism, that or you're trying to shill some other shit that doesn't let you customize the interface.

This is an interface thread, every post here's an unimportant shitpost by default. It's missing the forest for the trees by a pretty massive margin.
>>3468926
You can get at all the immediately useful tools in CSP without it taking up a third of your screen thanks to this thing called a hotkey. Anything not immediately necessary springing into place any time you exit fullscreen isn't really an advantage, since the odds of wanting the important stuff up while you're drawing way outweigh the odds of wanting to see the entire print layout. Double-shelfing the tool presets and the brush sizes in that quoted interface is 100% unnecessary, literally no reason to do it, and the stretched thing I cropped out normally lies down the side instead of using a tonne of grey space on nothing. I'd imagine this'd all be obvious the second you start actually using the interface but I think from all your kneejerk projecting we both know you don't actually do that.
This has the same tools in it except I shelved layer properties because that's another thing you'll only ever want to look at very infrequently and don't have the print layout up because you'll literally never want that while drawing.

>I have a rather unusual way of thinking about color, coming from a scientific background.
Can you elaborate? I'm a physics major and RGB seems very inconvenient to me.

>Think in term of "is this bluer? Or do I need more red or green?
Well, you think in these terms with HSV too, when picking the hue, but then it's very easy to change the value, unlike with RGB.
