I kept getting freaks from doing 8 heads, so I went measuring random peoples photos, there where a surprising amount of 7s and a lot of short torsos.

If you are good with volume and know the structure
1 your people will automatically start making sense
2 whatever you draw is a good drawing, draw a neck too long? Who says whats the right lenght of a neck?Its a good drawing of a person with a long neck.

There is a difference between idealized proportions and average proportions. The latter is based upon data where as the former is somewhat more grounded in culture.

People who have under 50% leg are dumb. Check the length of your legs compared to your total height, everyone.

I remember very clearly a discovery discovery where they said thats what the hunting method of humans was. When lions and most other predators used burst of speed, we used endurance. We cant outrun most creatures, but our lack of fur meant we needed lest rest than our prey to cool down our body, so we could just walk following the trail of the prey, when it would see us it would run away and a kilometer or so stop to rest, and by the time we caught up it would not be done resting. And we would keep doing that until it had could not run anymore. If you could catch a spear on the prey you could shave off a few hours from the chase.

Another animal which has a somewhat the same hunting method is the komodo dragon. Except that it has a very toxic bite, which would take a few hours to set in, and you can bet its going to be on your tail in all that time.

The heads aren't counted to their toes...You count to the heel. None of these girls is 7 heads tall. The one in the middle is 5.5 heads tall. Most of them are 6 heads tall with maybe 1 or 2 getting close to 6.5 heads.
