What site is this? But yeah, western artists are fucking toxic. Twitter was one of the few social media sites that the japanese adopted quickly but after tumblr closed down a bunch of crazy SJWs flooded to twitter and since then there's been some harassment of japanese artists, especially NSFW artists. Not to mention the attacks on anime and v-tubers. I follow a number of japanese artists and occasionally they re/tweet stuff complaining about Americans

I'm fully fluent in Japanese to the point where natives online are surprised to find out that I'm a foreigner, so I use that to my advantage and only use Japanese on my social media. But I don't hide the fact that I'm a westerner because I often write about the differences between Burgerland and Japan and anyone who could actually read my tweets would understand that I'm not pretending to be Japanese, but most weebs probably don't bother even google translating.
