tags DO work. i tried the #nsfw tag and got 2 followers. problem is i figured out twitter can somehow detect when something if pornographic and not show it. it's only if i put a black bar over the tits and vagina, then it magically shows up. i looked around at the profiles of porn artists and saw that they only hashtag their censored work. I've been with a few women in my life and one thing I've noticed is that the female anus is incredibly close to the vagina, in fact they're barely an inch apart.

You paint better than me, and the technical skill is pretty good at depicting sex. But it's not sexy or hot.

The pics are very static, no action just posing. Have them tossing their head back, hair flinging to the side. The guys could be more interactive and holding/grabbing the girls more. Have more sweat on them like their actually working it. Shirow Masamune is an example, not that you have to go to his extremes.

The biggest redpill is that if your art isn't getting shared, then it just isn't good enough yet. There are very few high quality artists who don't get their art spread around and very few artists who are popular who aren't (or were) very skilled.

There are ways to develop a following though. By far the best is to make lewd fanart for trending games/series. The only time an average person ever looks up art is when they want to build a folder for their new waifu, they generally don't give a shit about oc.

i don't do lineart. i paint the whole character from a loose sketch, and then outline them at the end to make them pop from the background or other characters. i'm not super clean with it bc it doesn't matter.

tracing gives you no creative freedom. you're constrained to make the pose as it's remade to look. Now if you're referring to half-tracing, like just one part that you don't know how to do yourself, well that will make you stagnate and never be able to do it by yourself. It's better to make a shitty artwork, or a shitty hand that you did all by yourself, and get better with time until you're a pro. Or be handicapped forever. It's short term satisfaction vs long term satisfaction + authentic skill. You put your art in your twitter avatar and write in your profile "hey I'm a hentai artist."
You upload a couple of drawings. Then give a couple of likes/retweets/comments on other people's drawings. At that point someone will be curious about you, roll over your name, see that you're an artist, click to check out your art, they'll see that you're good but your twitter account is new and they'll make sure to spread your shit fast like wildfire.

If this method doesn't work for you then there's a 99.99999% chance you're just not good enough. And if for some misfortune you're the kind of person who after all of this still thinks it's a matter of luck to be noticed by the right person and retweeted then I urge you to change that mindset right now or you'll never accomplish anything.

Find a balance between IPs you like and what's popular to not drain yourself.
You never want to pander so much to people who have ocs / roleplay. They are so fucking autistic 1/3 of the time and take advantage of whatever pricing you have until they day you die. They might pay well but if you do almost exclusively oc commissions you'll be drawing the same 6 characters over and over and it'll stagnate your brand and might stave away other high roller commissioners because you come off as elusive. Or they'll start off nice acting like your best friend then go cutthroat if you don't keep pandering to them.
The perfect balance i think is doing ~3/4 personal and fan pieces, and the rest commissions.

your style is flawless, perfect for coom
but your subject matter is boring af. only because a chick has literally the most perfect body it doesn't mean someone will coom to it. you have to start drawing things with a theme behind them, think of dialogs, think of kinky situations to put your characters in. as many people have suggested, a good way of growing is by making coom of existing IP and posting it as a comment on a tweet related to that IP
also another tip: do provocative stuff. make an image that would piss somebody off while making another person laugh. the more controversial your content is, the more people share it.

i am doing that tho. this is the first of a 3 part series, Drunk Nami. it'll get progressively kinkier. shadbase got famous by doing controversial shit with his characters, he draws minors, futa, whatever. he also has funny dialogue in his comics, that's an example of a guy with a HUGE fanbase
