One suggestion for when/if you update this, have a resize option so the image fits your window, I got poses where I could only see half the body without scrolling. Otherwise great job

It needs a random button (or better yet a random mode so it works with the timer) and maybe a way to skip ahead several images since they always come up in the same order.

Also, adding zoom in, fullscreen, and keyboard shortcuts should make it feel more complete.

I'm curious though, where are the images coming from, some search engine API I presume?
If so, what's the advantage of using this tool over just using that search engine? Are you filtering the results somehow?
If you currently don't have any way of separating good references from bad references, an interesting challenge might be to implement some kind of rating system so people can mark a reference as being good. This would let you crowdsource a collection of good references which you could prioritise in search results. You could then put all the good references into a pool that could be used for a random reference feature.

No filtering, it doesn't have any concept of what's a good ref and what isn't. Ranking system sounds very interesting, crowdsourcing decent references could be fantastic.

its what I started with many years ago, so I still default to it. its no problem for most things I do.
I switch to firefox for browsing ebay and anything that doesn't work.

Less than 1 min has been added now, if you hit the (min) button above the timer thing it will change to seconds

Going to call this 'done', after playing with ranking algo's it started to seem like polishing a turd. Have another idea to get quality refs but will take a while to develop. Thanks for all the feedback anons.

Very nice! I'm an Entomologist by study and it pulls really nice reference images for insect families. I looked through some of the flies as an example (as finding good references for flies is always a pain) and you have some nice images. I really like how they show not only the color patterns (which aren't great, but a lot of students rely on b/c they're easy to see), but also include good up close side images which really show off the bristles and hairs more frequently used.
The only down sides really are that I can't get the "About" button to do anything and it's http instead of https.
