what i recommend you is to stop using legoman as a goal, this man literally create 3d models to trace them and still, he manage to do it wrong, thats why at some point he decided to do these "construction" pieces, to hide the fact that he cant draw properly.

i fell for the legoman meme, i tried to emulate his style. i started by using a descontruction method, until i realized that legoman commit several mistakes. if you think that im wrong, search any legoman piece rendered by other artists and compare with the original sketch. is wrong or the artist fix the mistakes.

Thanks for the feedback. I had a feeling that the dick was off-center, but wasn't sure while working on it. I can see now that the proportions are definitely fucked in a lot of areas like the shoulder widths and arm lengths, and I think the ribcages might be a bit too big to begin with, so there's just a lot of studying I'll need to do there

depends on the dpi (dots per inch) when printing/ppi (pixels per inch) of your chosen screen. essentially dpi = ppi for what i'm gonna be talking about but in most contexts dpi = print and/or scanning, ppi = digital screen
standard is 300dpi for print, tho it can sometimes go up to 600dpi for hyper high quality and as low as 150dpi but i'd really suggest never going below 300dpi on something you plan to print, so remember to plan ahead accordingly

back to the topic at hand, at 300dpi 1000x1000 would be 3.33x3.33 inches

nobody's gonna cancel you, as long as you aren't an IRL creep or intentionally stirring shit 99.9% of people just keep it moving

i was paraphrasing it badly but one of the first things he brings up in his drawing manual (both videos an the book) are that you never want to "copy" the subject so much as analyze and study it. you never want to blindly recreate a reference, you want to understand the intricacies going on underneath, so to speak, why and how the forms an shapes an flow an anatomy come together in the ways they do, so that you can hopefully reach a point where you can easily do that from "imagination" without always need for a ref. that said, you should never avoid a ref if you need one, it's just that hopefully with training you can get through most basic work without one

Most of the top artists you see on the popular section on Hentai-Foundry are using 3D, some are more obvious than others but most of them use it to some degree.

Basically, it's completely fucked. The face has literally no structure at all. It's like you drew a flat line for the stock "anime jaw line", a circle for the rest of the skull, and then did blind guessing to place the rest of the features. Eyes should be an eye width apart. The mouth and nose should line up with the middle of the face, and the ear should be placed at around eye-to-nose level. Second, the shoulder area is completely unsalvageable and you glossed over all of the relevant anatomy. She has no trapezius muscle and only a suggestion where the collarbones should be. There's no depth to the neck either. As a final point, from this pose and angle, the other arm should be visible, not cramped behind the breast. The hand on the far side would also be angled less awkwardly. The arm we CAN see is way too thin. Feel free to tell me what I've missed.

Good lines, good rendering, soft skin. The facial expressions are a little vague but that could be an intentional choice. I think the biggest detractor here is the lack of composed focal points. They're standing in a line, with bland perspective, all in similar poses, all similarly distanced from the camera. Not a lot going on.

Save this as a copy, and keep working at it any area that you think doesn't look right.
It can be anythng minor from fleshing out the fingers or deleting the color outside the lines or major things like rendering the nipples or fixing shadows.
Work at it and keep asking yourself if it looks good.

Also lighting on the left upper arm doesn't make any sense. The light is supposedly coming from left-top-front if we judge by all the other body parts but it falls on the left arm from behind and you have a highlight in the shadow.

The second you stop thinking of shadows and light as shifting towards black and white, you'll improve a shitton. Here's an example. Left is what it looks like you're doing, right is what you should be doing. Notice how on the color wheel, they slowly shift towards purple for the shadows. For your image, maybe shift towards yellowish white for the highlights to accentuate the background

The Hue/Saturation tool. Dropped the hue closer to red, upped the saturation, and upped the brightness. For the purple shadows, I made a new layer, colored over the shadows with a soft, purple brush, then made the layer property into "Overlay". That's a *FIX*, but its a bandaid. Once you're a bit more experienced with color, you shouldn't have to do that
