There are invitations, but only for a very limited number of people. I am one of those people. I could invite some people there, But I would be tied to them, if they screw up I'm the one that gets banned, and the mods are pretty trigger happy as you know.

So I only take the chance with very specific people. People that are polite, helpful and that are using the courses shared here to their advantage. They have to show progress, consistency and commitment.

The materials shared here are way more then a starting point, If you are not progressing with what's here you need to focus on yourself and not at getting a particular course. I'm not going to use my invites just for people to hoard more and more.

And before someone says that the invites get nowhere I've invited someone last month and they are happily using the site, so it works ok, no problem.

That said I'd like the courses from James Gurney as everybody knows that him and Nathan Fowkes are the go to references for color studies even if you work digitally.
But at the same time all the courses from Nathan Fowkes are available here even the newest workout one that I've posted the link here this week. So even though Gurney's videos would be nice to have, not having them is not an excuse for not studying or progressing

It does not hurt to do the drawing program with Watts. The head and figure courses.
I bought the asaro head and a skull as well Drawing these endlessly in all kinds of postitions with different lighting and with that having it memorized sure helps in drawing faster. But after doing this for a while move on to something else. To keep the creative juices flowing.
In Art School you also have different subjects and different teachers with different opinions and different styles.
Some cannot handle this.
I think this is great. 1 teacher and 1 route is to limited for me.

Besides basic drawing fundamentals, drawing anime/manga style comes from straight up copying other anime/manga styles. Just get out your favorite manga and copy all the drawings in there. Super simple.

I've been drawing from life for a while learning perspective , anatomy figure, gesture forms and shapes studying my favorite artists. Etc.

Anyone knows a good comic/Manga course/book (not a how to draw a downgraded Loomis method or how to draw in X style )

But a basic from how to make a script, the composition of panel, how to use onomatopoeias , gray tones etc.
