There is a difference between reading and translating.
When you're reading you're just letting the words form ideas (concepts) in your mind, but when you translate you've got to change that back into another language. It can be tricky to convert sentence structures in a sensible way.

Despite how old the translations are, we still occasionally get people coming through here asking where to start in the Kawakamiverse. It's only reasonable to keep outright spoilers to a minimum for the enjoyment of newcomers.
