Well this would be the easy way to answer. But seriously, since you can't show everything in detail every time (otherwise you'd need thousands of sprites and BGs) you fill in through text. Mention of corridor widths, elevator access etcetera.

Hey, just asking a simple question. I'm not the one who has a complaint. Enjoy.

So let me get this straight...

Translating FROM Japanese without localizing means it's good.

But when the Japanese translate TO Japanese without localizing, and we're talking about the people who have the VN scene in their palm compared to pretty much everyone else, it's bad?

Funny how it stayed in even in translation, then.

Good thing the JP translation team - which is composed of, you know, Japanese people? Living in Japan? Told us that wasn't really an issue, and that we had captured the ambience of certain sleepy small towns quite well.

>Anything I should know before viewing these videos?
Yes, no torrents, I know jack shit about it (but others are welcome to create one like last time). Also, the first video covering 1997-2005 has a healthy ratio 50/50 for shows in 4:3 and 16:9. Ultimately, I chose to compile it into 16:9 to preserve the latter's quality as much as I could (saving it as 4:3 would've squashed the 16:9 videos into a size twice as smaller). The only backdraw from testing I've gathered is that 4:3 OPs will have black bars fixed on both sides on 16:9 monitors, and perhaps bars on the top and bottom on 16:10 monitors (unsure about this one) when full-screened; overall however it shouldn't hamper your viewing experience unless for some reason you're using a 4:3 monitor.
As for 2008 and 2010 videos, both were compiled into semi-HD format, so while viewing the entire collection into full-screen is not recommended, the latter two are "acceptable" for full-screen viewing...just don't expect 720p HD, hell not even 720p TVHD. Also, the 2006 video is the crappiest in quality due to lack of proper sources and general error on my end, how stupid of me.
Yes I screwed up the volume level for Air and yes I screwed up the resolution for one of the Sakura Taisen OPs, and I apologize in advance.

That's about it, just remember that the videos weren't designed with quality in mind. This is my gift to you and I hope you enjoy. I await your comments down below for the Mecha OP 2008-2011v1 and the VN videos are final, so go ahead and spread it around for outer circulation, I'll be posting this in /a/ and /jp/ as well soon enough.

>inb4 get out KS devs
Unaffiliated with Katawa Shoujo in any way.

Greetings from /m/, /jp/. I come to you with a gift (which has also been posted in /a/, /m/, and /v/).

I have gone ahead and created another series of videos, involving Visual Novels as my token of appreciation for the 100+ unique downloads for my previous video.
>What?
Just like the mecha collection, I have taken majority of the TV and OVA (at minimum two-episodes-long) adaptations based on Visual Novels and compiled them into precise chronological order starting from 1997, ending at Fall 2011 (current season). The criteria for this video was simple: Must be a TV anime and/or at-least-two-episode-long-OVA, must be based on/related to the VN to an extent (either the entire VN, premise, or characters), no /h/ OVAs were included as well as movies. This separate project was also in preparation for the mecha OP v1 I mentioned earlier by testing various methods for video compilation, and the results turned out to be...decent.

I have separated the videos into four parts:
1997-2005
2006-2007
2008-2009
2010-2011
Links to download will be in the next post.

However, due to lack of shows compared to the mecha genre, the videos are rather short (first video is the longest at little over an hour, the shortest is the last one clocking in under 30 minutes(!).
>BUT THE SIZES ARE RIDICULOUSLY LARGE AGAIN YOU BASTARD
Sorry, I'm not an encoder and I don't do this kind of work often, but I tried what I could to get rid of the pixelations that was plaguing all but the last video.

Greetings /jp/, /m/echa fanatic here with a question for you all.

A while ago I made an OP collection video for /m/ containing robot anime openings from 2008-2011. I'm wondering if /jp/ would be interested in a similar series of videos containing majority of the Visual Novel anime OPs from 1997-2011.
