There were many problems with that scene.
1.- There are certain memory cards for the N64, you attached them to the controller, but the game they were playing (SMB64) didn't require it.
2.- The game they were playing didn't have a 2 player mode, but the said that Leonard and Sheldon would play together
3.- As always, the fake laughs. Just mentioning the name of the console made the audience violently laugh. I think that even that ``hello'' made them giggle.
