i don't know. i think at the time i would have rather fought against miyako, because in neutral i don't have a good answer yet to your j5c or whatever that move is. but miyako is frustrating too because your pokes turn into huge combos. i don't really have any preference, i just need to keep playing to get better.

i actually would have kept playing but hunger felt like it was literally gnawing a hole in my stomach so i had to cut loose.

i was actually trying to bait a reversal and block a few times there but it failed almost every single time.

anyway, my overall play is terrible, so i can't really focus on one aspect. for instance trying to jump in with 2c against a superior aa character is dumb, i should always use 2b instead. but for some reason i keep wanting to land the 2c. i just need to practice more and get more comfortable with the controls.

i've never played BB but i've played guilty gear and it's kinda like guilty gear, but they are definitely their own games with their own mechanics. i only started playing a couple weeks ago and it's pretty fun but the "average" skill level for mb is pretty high so it's kinda hard to break in. i'm still struggling. it's more fun for me because i'm familiar with the VNs.
