Only reason I found out about Youtube in 2005 was because of all the terribly compressed TV shows and movies being uploaded.

This is common logic - anything that isn't popular with the majority of the people will be found by hipsters and exploited as much as possible. There is a Youtube ad that highlights "the geek culture" of some Youtube superstar who cooks cakes and stuff featuring Super Mario Bros characters and other crap.

When people think of anime they think of Dragonball Z or Sailor Moon. If you asked them what they thought of Umineko for example they would say "I saw the anime!" and never bring up the VN.

I had masala the other day. The aroma and smell of spices was very strong but I was surprised to find that it was actually bitter. The place I bought it at left the teabag in it when I ordered it with my bagel and I am not sure if that played any part in it.

I still need to play Atelier Escha & Logy but I am kind of burnt out on JRPG's at the moment. Etrian Odyssey 4 is fantastic.
Suikoden 2 got announced for PSN recently and I am excited because it is a fantastic game.
