I'm not home at the moment and won't be for quite a few hours (16-17 hours or so). I'll fix it as soon as I get home. Thank you for your patience

So, as of the 3th of june, it's been a year since I set up /jp/ radio. On the day of setting it up, I've never thought my little stream would last for a whole year. From a simple touhou music stream project, to a small station with the purpose of streaming related and non-related /jp/ music. From a shitty little program run by my main computer to a dedicated Windows XP 'server' running a website with features added and still to be add.

I could talk on and on about the history of /jp/ radio, how it was set up, but I don't think anyone cares. What I do want to talk about is, about who else made this stream possible. The listeners, my friends and Japanese Bird in particular. I can't run a stream without listeners or friends to support me, but Japanese Bird, a.k.a. my stalker, was/is responsible for moderating the stream while I'm asleep or away, providing music, icons and other icons, replying to you guys in threads, notify me about stuff, giving me tips on what we should do with the stream and a whole bunch of other stuff. Thank you.

As of now, by popular demand, /jp/ radio is accepting donations. You can find the button below the menu. Feel free to pass the stream some money if think it is deserved. We will resume to provide you with music whether you donate or not. We will resume to add features and upgrade the server over time, until I get sued or something. Thank you for your support.

This should work now. Some script I got with the website was messing up with my own scripts.

It's possible something went wrong when relocating the upload folder. What's the name of the song you were trying to upload?

Just checked the logs and I couldn't find anything big. I've adjusted a few settings which might help. If it goes in infinite load mode again, I'll check them again. The server process was indeed on 100% load.

Oh and I also deleted every database entry of files that don't exist. This should fix the problem were people would be able to request a song that doesn't exist.

Everything should be up again. I found a way to relocate everything without whiping the database. Now I just gotta remove the C78 page and replace it with new content
Enjoy

Bringing down the stream and website in a bit to import all the songs. Shouldn't take too long.

Oh, and the stream is back up. Note that the diskspace is still the same. It'll increase as soon as I relocated everything which will happen soon

Disks are installed and configured. I just need to find a way to relocate the music to the way I want it.

Thanks to everyone who offered to donate harddrives to the station. I really appreciate it. As I stated before, I wanted some new harddrives before accepting donations. Now that I finally got got my hands on a few, I will consider opening donations to those who still wish to do so.

Shutting down the stream for a bit to install a few harddrives.

I got my hands on a few harddrives, I'll attempt to put them in BOX tomorrow.

I already have such a script. As for the HD, I'm still on it.

Don't worry, everything is fine.

While trying to setup the live stream. My internet decided that it wasn't a good idea. I was attempting to fix it and forgot to let you guys know what was going on. It seems that my internet is back up at home, so I'll be putting the stream back up in a bit. We'll try and put up another live show in the near future.

Thanks for your patience and sorry for everything.

Tonight at around 00:00 GMT +1 I might do a live show with about 7 people. I have a pretty good live mixer as well who will mix J-core and house, all /jp/ related. Staring will be Leofox, Aya (famous for the Ryuuseigun version here on the stream) Sophie, me and more random people. We're probably open Skype again and accept random people on Skype again. We'll also accept requests for songs during live mixing.

Be prepared for "fun"

Stream is back up.

I'll look into it some other time. I haven't been able to figure out why certain songs won't load. Reloading all the song would be the best option but I gotta figure out how I'll be able to do that without losing data in the database. I'll probably back up everything before reloading every song in SAM and then insert all the data again, or something.

Gonna reboot the stream for a bit. It's been a while since it rebooted anyway. It'll be back up in a bit

>> No.7222178 [View]

A table crashed. That probably caused songs to not play properly. Let me know if you still experience problems.

I might be able to implement this myself without SAM supporting it. I'll look into it after I finish the report system

>>7158164
Not sure. It should be doable but working with timestamps and PHP sucks...

He's right though. The average hasn't increased but the queuelist did. Not sure why.
