Time to go off myself then, I'm having a lot of trouble with it for some reason, even after 1CC'ing EoSD, PCB, MoF, and TD.

Any quick tips that aren't immediately obvious? I don't even know why I'm having all this trouble.

You're right, it is really skimpy, but it's got a pretty weak selection of spell cards until Seiga, and even then she's only got a couple that are scary enough to warrant bombing. So you'll probably have enough bombs and lives to get through Futo and Miko.

But, opinions, I think EoSD is easier than PCB.

Because once you know where to use trance, you can amass a lot of resources to where getting through the few crazy cards there are (looking at you Seiga), is pretty trivial.

Didn't see that in time, I think we posted at the same time.
It took me about a month to get my first 1CC, which was PCB. After that i did TD in about 4 days, then MOF in 2 days. I'm working on EoSD for about 3 days now, and boy is it hard, but I feel good about it.

I would advise you to do PCB or MoF first, since they're both pretty non-invasive and forgiving with their gimmicks. EoSD doesn't have any gimmicks, but that doesn't help you out any.

I think you're getting 1CC confused with something else.
1CC stands for One-Credit-Clear, not One-Life-Clear. If you're going for a 1CC, it's okay to die so long as you don't run out of lives and are forced to expend a continue.

Youmu has always been popular

I train on Touhou almost every day, but only for a couple hours at a time, so I don't burn myself.

I switch to something completely unrelated like a shooter or a RPG. Nuclear Dawn and GoS:Weekend have been on my plate lately.

And I know the feeling, PCB was my first 1CC and getting though Ressurection with no lives made my hands shake when I could finally take them off the keyboard.

Like I said, I am nowhere near good enough to offer specific advice, but there are some pieces of wisdom I can give you.

First, you bomb at really strange times, I'm not one to talk about resource management since my biggest problem is that i don't bomb enough, but there were times where you were completely in the clear and bombed anyway, and it made me scratch my head a little.

Second, you like to hang out at the very bottom of the screen, there were a couple of times if you had looked for a vertical escape route you would have been fine, this was apparent mostly on Sakuya.

But other than that nice job!

So long as you differentiate between canon and fanon, regardless of what side of the universe you prefer, I don't think anyone will have a legitimate problem with you.

Youmu's spells have a really strange weakness in that going right through the middle of them seems to be the best option.
