I prefer platonic Kanon and platonic AIR to the H-versions. AIR especially since the story gets a crude undertone that spoils the mood.

Now Clannad on the other hand, needed H-scenes in a few routes. I'm thinking of Kyou and Tomoyo especially, possible also Sunohara. The jury's still out on Kotomi.
