I don't see how what they're doing is only for pandering or any different than other slice of life comedy anime out there. People are saying stuff like pure moe...but they're not showing how it's special or different with K-ON in comparison to other shows of its type.

Music was important in K-ON...so it would make sense for their music stuff to be pretty high quality. Their instruments were already set from the manga too, so KyoAni didn't really choose them.

Yuri undertones are pretty common too.

I don't see how so. K-ON had a lot of gags...and with some of them they just are cute gags. This is also pretty common in slice of life.

I love KyoAni because of their high quality animation and enjoyed their adaptations. I don't understand what's meant when they're immodest about moe or what they're doing any differently than what you usually see in cute slice of life and romance. They just make really good romance and slice of life anime.
