In the case that you've never felt affection or love from any other human being who is not obligated to love you, YES, sex in this situation would give you the delusion that you are loved, whether it be lustful or not, it's the delusion itself.

I've never experienced any intimate sexual contact with a member of the opposite sex, nor do I believe it is what defines true love. All I'm saying is that for someone who has never felt to touch or compassion of another one in such an intimate display, they will take such a lustful act as sex to be what "true love" is.

I know exactly what you mean friend, there's nothing wrong with having an affinity for something that isn't real. At least you are capable of compassion, which shows that you are still human. I know that I can feel like that at times as well, longing for an end to life, trying to find a reason to live, but I just look back on that and focus on something productive. Whether it be a hobby, or my job, just anything to keep my mind off the inevitable fact that I am worthless, and unwanted.
