One word buddy: Menopause. It's P.M.S.'s FINAL SMASH ATTACK, and it's been hammering away at my mother's decision making impulses for months, ultimately culminating in her sending me away from the house because she claimed I wasn't doing anything for the family, EVEN though I got a job at Kroger so that my family could take advantage of my 10% discount and so that I could help them pay the rent, and I made sure she was aware of these intentions and she still insisted I leave. Now she seems to have seen the error of her ways, though I won't be returning to that home for a while, at least not until my coffers are stocked.

Heh, here's a question for you /jp/, I've survived by moving in with my best friend, at least for the duration of my exile from home, and continuing my work at Kroger. During my stay there, I've bonded well with all my coworkers, so well infact, that some of them have even offered to take me in incase my current housing falls apart. I guess my question is: Should I stay with a bro or a hoe? I'm closer to the guys at work then the girls, all us cashiers and baggers get along well, though I flirt with all the chicks I work with.. Yeah, I know I'm apologizing to a brick wall of hatred and all that, but thoughts and words cracked the Berlin wall long before a sledgehammer ever did. I made a slight mistake there, I know from experience (and a little help back from my first thread here) that by the time you beat Rumia you should have between 60-70 power, and by the time you finish Diayawhatshername you should have MAXed out on power, other then that, the first two stages are a breeze.. Though I'm ashamed to admit I've died to Cirno's Icicle Falls more then I'd like to.. I finally figured it out, but after quite a few painful wastes-of-a-bomb.

I always bombed at the very beginning of stage 2, that'd usually knock me up to full powah! I tried experimenting with bombing after Daiyowhatshername but I found that I'd usually need that bomb incase I fucked something up before reaching stage 4.

Trick cards & reflex cards eh? Never thought of it that way.. Though it makes sense. For a silly drunk like ZUN to come up with consistently unique yet cohesive patterns like we witness in the games there must be some sort of method to his madness..
I haven't had too much luck with relplays, half the time the replay-ee (Is that a word?) will just bomb stuff he doesn't like, or worse, die trying. Kinda defeats the purpose for me..

#2 is the only one that gets me, I usually end up needing to use my first bomb during the fight with Meiling, her second to last and final cards sometimes present tricky dodging situations. My next bomb tends to be spent on the inevitable fuck-up during those first books in stage 4 that spew the green crap. The last bomb tends to get used during Patchy's Rage Trilithon. Though sometimes if I've had some fuck ups I'll reach Patchy and not have any bombs, and that's where I usually lose my first life. After the first death is when I start to forget to use bombs... I'm guessing that it's just a skill you develop as you play more & more?

Ah, idea: Let's here when you guys like to bomb! When the screen is full of shit? When there's a particularly tough pattern coming up that you know you have trouble with? Share your insight guys!

No seriously, thank you bro, nice to see someone lending their concern. I've actually gotten up to Lady Scarlet herself before (but that was back when I was a whiny little continue-whore) and even then she was too tough a nut for me to crack. Course, that was back on my first day with EoSD, now I'd like to think that if I can ever breach Sakuya's crazy stuff with a couple lives intact that I can beat Remilia. Nowadays I usually reach stage five with one or two extra lives, I tend to lose one to random winky-fairies, the other to Sakuya's Misdirection card, and the last one to Sakuya's second time-manipulation card that I can't quite remember.

Heh, Youmu's easy, right up until she does that one attack that makes stuff hit you from the bottom of the screen. Bones me every time!

I've only touched IN twice, once with Reimu-Yukari, and once with Sakuya-Remilia, so I'm not really worried about it right now. EoSD is my primary target, I'mma take the Scarlet Mansion by storm!
