-It's Solomons time again. The Spring 2021 Event is scheduled to commence on May 8. It will be a medium-scale event with 3 maps in the MO and 2 in the EO. There will be Japanese and foreign ships implemented. A new American Heavy Cruiser, a Matsu-class destroyer, and Yuugumo-class destroyer will be implemented.
-Ryuuhou Kai-II and Kai-IIE has been implemented. Kai-IIE, the default, requires level 80, 1BP, and 1 Catapult. Kai-II requires level 88.
-The March ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the SOC Seagull and the ResDon Skilled Lookout.
-PBY-5A Catalina now has a rescue mechanic. It is able to "pick up" fallen LBAS fairies, minimizing loss of planes.
-It is now possible to improve the Tenzan M12A through Akashi's Arsenal.
-2 new quests have been implemented.
-New and returning furniture has been implemented. 8th Anniversary seasonal CGs and voice lines have been implemented. The max ship slots has been increased to 490. 10 free equipment slots have been added to every account.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to the ongoing DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures are temporary as of right now. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy
