With this in mind, I made some new sketches.
After many twists and turns, I arrived at something close to the final design. I had two possible designs. The one on the right is quite close to the finished version, while the one on the left was a more typical "sexy armored onee-san" design with a shapelier body, and armor that's more form fitting. While I'm aware that this design probably fits many people's taste, in the setting the armor can also be worn by men, and as such, it had to look fairly unisex.
However, there are of course individual differences between Living Armors, because the armors that have been turned into monster girls can change appearance to a degree, the armor could look like the right illustration while you're wearing it, and like the left when she's in autonomous mode!
