I'm up for a challenge. After all, I'm an outsider, sure I have some info of her interest. And about the geta : I managed to learn how to balance myself in one of those wheeled knee destroying machines we call bycicles all those years ago, so a pair of geta can't be that hard.

If you wish to live with the humans, you seek a life of honest labor and a pastoral existence.
If you wish to live at that strange temple where even the youkai visit, you have accepted that the dharma transcends morality and would live a humble, if perhaps content life.
To live among the hermits that conquered death, would be to plumb the very depths of sensation and existence to conquer one's self and tame it completely to your will.
To choose to live among the demons of the Scarlet Devil Mansion would no doubt be terrifying, but also completely safe from external threat. It would take a very brave, if perhaps foolish soul to test the whims of the Red Moon.
To live in the House of Eternity would be similarly strange, for the youkai beasts of the bamboo forest have no particular love for humans and those lunar beings would have no love for those of the earth. Nonetheless, one would be safe, and privy to secrets beyond that of our sphere. Perhaps the strangest is that of Mayoiga, the mysterious dwelling of the most powerful youkai in Gensokyo. Such a counterpoint force to humans yet so close to the strongest ally of man in this land of illusion.
To live in the Forest of Magic would be of great danger as well, for it is to brave both the elements and the fauna, so changed by magic that they would seem alien if not deadly already. Even if I could meet those who I could consider friendly, would they protect or shelter such an outsider?
But to live with the tengu of the mountain...that is one of trials and action.
I would wish to live there, to strive for something greater and to partake of such wonderful awards.

Traditional Japanese architecture, but in trees. Maybe for individuals. I always pictured big fortresses and stuff.
I can somehow not find any of my pictures of tengu town right now.

If I was reborn in Gensokyo, I'd want to be a tengu.
