Looking back on everything, 90% of the posts that were angry about Ame were probably fucking Shadowmanlet posting on cooldown for threads at a time, with only about 10% of the rest being Teamates who were legitimately peeved.
Not to discount the people who had genuine worries, but the ones who went absolutely wild and fucked the thread over for a day straight; it seems a grand majority were Shadowmanlet, and general shitposters who followed for free dopamine hits. I say this because the thread's tone changed as soon as he got permabanned. It went from

I don't exactly like weighing in on things that are more opinionated, but at this point it's just too pathetic to sit back and watch.
There are at least two Chinese here who operate on the bare minimum of understanding for month's old narratives, and they want to rile up people into believing things will go to hell because of the "evil Chinese invasion" on Gura's chat. If you've been following the Chinese arc, you'd know by now that most of them have moved on, with only a few hyper dedicated left. The CCP even cracked down on anyone trying to organize raids, because it interfered with their power structure. The Chinese paper tiger is already fallen over, but the dedicated Zhangs want to make you believe they can hurt anyone in Hololive anymore.
Then, there's at least two dedicated Hololive antis shitting up the thread in tandem. They go out of their way to stir the pot by constantly restarting the same argument throughout the thread. Whenever the thread has momentum going towards another topic, they spam an Ame anti post or two again and pull it back to that.
Next, either the same people or another one or two, we've got /hlg/ posters who decided to break from their thread to this one out of a sense of wanting to "own the Globaltards." They're the ones who are spamming "/hlgg/ is truly the anti thread" and trying to act smug about it, because they want to feel like they're superior in a moment that seems ripe to attack.
Mixed with those are the usual SEAniggers who look for drama and (you)s all the time in these threads. Those ones are parroting the "/hlgg/ is the anti thread" posts, but instead of being smug, they're being faux sad about it. Those are the ones who want to get (you)s of people running to defend themselves.
Finally, we've got the standard shitposters, who don't care about anything but getting (you)s, but don't care about the drama, so they just engage, take bait, play into the retards and antis, etc.
Read the playbook. Study how people post. Learn the motivations. It becomes very obvious in time.
