Man I'm not even gunning you down on your exact prediction, but it isn't new or novel that pixiv execs generate these kind of controversies of their own accord without other parties forcing or invoking it. Pops up every so often (see the Niji controversy).
It CAN just be bullshit that doesn't cleanly fit into any sort of conspiracy that gets resolved in some uncertain fashion that indirect parties don't get much insight into. That's actually the norm, and is ignored as such.
