I didn't say anything negative about OP art, I just wonder why western characters tend to have psycho looking eyes. Even non anime inspired art does that half-closed eyes 'BU' looking art like Family Guy or else has the eyes fully open with pupils in the center and whites all around. It's like the default non-serious cartoon style. I think it's supposed to look uncaring or sarcastic or something. With anime inspired stuff it tends to look like #4 on the >>40282411 chart and I just wondered why it's common to have the eyes droopy like that and whether Japanese people think it's weird or ugly. I was thinking of that guy in this pic when thinking about those kinds of eyes.
