My Japanese is too shitty to read the in-game dialogue, though just good enough to decipher the card descriptions, so I've been playing to unlock everything while skipping any story stuff until the full translation is out. But even without knowing anything about who the final boss is or why the heroines are fighting her, the fight itself comes across as extremely flavorful. All her cards have a clear theme of "focal points", those being either you, or her, or both. And I found them more interesting than Okina's, which were a bit on the nose for her theme, more understandable without specialist knowledge than Miko's, and less frustrating than Shinmyoumaru's. Also, this might just be me, but I found the fight very difficult to sight-read, which fits nicely with the game's overall theme of 'you don't do it on the first try'.
So very cool final boss, some neat stuff in stages 4 and 5, and a particularly cool stage 4 boss as well. I like it. As expected of the master, Mr Oota.
