It's different Answer Arc specifically that was said, not just different Answer. Anyway, the different ending bit came from a post Tomato made on twiter back in December, not from the marketing material.

Well, with Meguri's set up it's possible the Neko torture wasn't just meaningless acting and Satoko genuinely believes this is good for Rika too.

Either way, Meguri's ending is supposed to be different from Sotsu's too, based on Tomato's post back at the end of December when he talked about how soon Meguri would split from the anime. Then when they get back Gou manga ending, they will go towards a different ending.
