I'm very interest about how this story could continue.
If anon didn't bow at the end, I even thought this would be a version of hell where You are trapped in a loop where You take the same actions without realizing at first, up until the moment you get a feeling of deja-vu to the agony of knowing every single event that will happen from that first scare to Your death all the while being unable to change your actions and the subsequent flow of events.

Kinda like Endless Eight if it was a torture room, or Re Zero if you couldn't change the outcome of your actions no matter how hard you tried, like Steins;Gate tuturu arc that mindbroke Okabe.
