I'm not offering solutions to your transport woes, I'm simply saying that having your body melted off you and being kept in someone's pocket as a sensory-deprived kernel without the ability to interact with anything until they choose to dump you in a puddle.. is not a fate I would subject an enemy to, let alone a lover.

Slime is mai waifu, and my method of dealing with the problem would be to not travel to an environment which is inimical to her existence in the first place. There are other quests, in other lands.
