I've been watching their TV series 'Nogizakatte doko' and I quite like a few of them, but others I'm not a huge fan of - like any group I guess. They do have a different image from the other *48 groups though, even so, the whole official rival nonsense is just silly. They get promoted by AKB just as much as SKE did and others. With that said, I really liked their first CD and thought their version of Aitakatta was rather cool.
As for the drama, perhaps you need to be a big Mayu fan to enjoy it more, I don't know - I like it.
