hello /jp/

i was thinking about learning japanese.
i started reading a grammar guide but then it struck me

how the fuck do i search up words in japanese?
when i was learning english or french i would just well type the word.
but i can't type a kanji i don't recognize.

i know yomichan does that but it only works on webpages.

how do you guys do it?

you can't copy paste it.

do you use manga formatted in a way that you can copy paste from them?
