Feminism is cancer and while it's not nearly as rampant in Japan (I know there's some feminist outrage, spare me your comments), it does kinda boggle my mind that there are sexualised 2D (and 3D) girls everywhere to the point girls and women are guaranteed exposure to it. What must they think of it? Male sexuality and female sexuality are so different to each other I can't put myself in that position. With a dude it's either funny or I think "wow that guy's fuckin' ripped, nice!".

I mean most of the Hololoves are some level of otaku anyway, and in a sense are embodiments of it themselves, look at Aki's with her fucking cleavage out... they're so immersed in it I guess they don't even think twice about it. Does that immersion apply to the wider society at a more ambient level too? Or are there lots of women who grumble to themselves whenever they see a sexy rail line anime mascot?
