I went from 175cm 130kg->54kg, here's my advice

>make meaningful long term diet changes
you're just going to gain the weight back if you don't do this, I've been through this cycle several times and everytime it gets more painful

stop eating junkfood, or at the very least limit it to a calculated, once a week treat

base your diet around lean meat, oily fish and veggies, cottage cheese and eggs, if you can handle them also include fruit and low GI carbs like legumes and oats

Obviously give up sugary beverages, this includes artificially sweetened stuff as well because it still cultivates sugar cravings. Best learn to like water, tea and black coffee now (I suppose unsweetened almond/coconut milk is also fine)

>weightloss is 80% diet 20% exercise
I run 5k 30minutes 6 days a week, sounds like I should be burning a lot of calories right? Well not really, each run burns 300kcal, which means that over a a week I only burn 1800kcal as a result of exercise

A single pound of fat is 3500kcal... if you want to get thin enough for kigu you're going to need to lose roughly 50 pounds...

Start religiously counting and tracking the calories in everything you eat, buy a set of food scales and use an app like myfitnesspal or cronometer.

BE SUPER STRICT ABOUT THIS, most fatties underestimate their calories significantly, see pic related

>meme diets
You probably haved heard about paleo, keto, vegan, intermittent fasting, water fasting etc
all of these diets have their pluses and downsides (keto suppresses appetite and cuts out most sweets, vegan foods are super low calorie but high in volume, intermittent fasting can help stop snacking, water fasting is the absolute fastest way to lose weight etc), but at the end of the day, eating less calories than you burn is the only way to lose weight.

This is basically it
/fat/ on /fit/ can help
/thinspo/ on /fa/ is another weightloss general but is basically eating disorder gen, going there is not advised for your mental health

Don't forget to be kind to yourself, my 6 year long battle with weight loss and weight gain has given me a legit eating disorder and now I can't think about anything other than food, it has legit ruined my life and I feel like killing myself 24/7, kigu is one of the few escapes I get from obsessing over food
