Xenoblade 2’s equipment are randomised and have characters attached. Most will have generic dudes but there are rare ones who have set designs and an unlockable mini-quest

You will get some if you open the weapon cores, and there are some set ones you can find but trying to collect all is a chore I won’t recommend to any streamer
