Upd8 seems to have an eye for talented creators, but from the latest batch Laki seems like the odd one out. Especially considering she was corporate already.
I wonder if Tsuki-chan joining is out of the question. I hope it is, it'd be hegemony and that's always a bad thing.

Anyway, it also looks like they're using Ai-chan as a giant shining lure to catch new talents. Especially since she seems to be so popular among Vtubers, or maybe it's just politeness.
That said, it'd be a much brighter lure if they started slaving their members to make videos with Ai-chan. Like a collab, but showing what they're capable of; shoving most of the work to the underlings.
Also, Ai-chan is great bouncing off people. We've seen it a lot before, like in her TV show or her paid promotions or even her 1mil suscribers live event.

It's before she became sort of big, so there's a power struggle of politeness. It's very interesting.
