gen2 doesnt like any of the other gen2s, they're literally just coworkers.
The senpai-kouhai ladder really gimps collabs, but most of them just treat hololive as a job. EN also knows collabs sell better but they still choose to stream solo because its just easier. Play a game for 2 hours, talk over it in character, tell a couple of funny stories, thank akasupas, close stream. Thats it, thats your job for the day. Its not like they're streaming 4-6 hours a day like ""normal"" streamers are, hololive just plays the game they wanted to play.
Also being under Cover may be an issue here. I dont know to what extent they control how much someone streams, if they can just stream 12 hours a day everyday and call whoever on discord and play apex without announcing it on twitter or asking Cover.

Also yes most of hololive has some sort of mental illness and cant properly communicate. Aqua and Pekora are just the most obvious and open about it, but everyone's a hikkikomori to the point where normal people like Kiara are considered gigastacies in this thread because she asks FBK for a collab without jumping through 9 months of red tape and twitter diplomatic relations.
