Ive been lurking this thread for a few days just to see the shitstorm and rage.

The two things that bother me are Waflas being overly cringe and full of sonic OC tier autism. And that EoSD gets too much attention given that there are 16 other main series games and that it has less polish compared to other main series windows games.

I am just going to give my two cents on some arguments in this thread.

1. This secondary bullshit is retarded. People can appreciate the games however they want, but the existance of fan content whether it is cringe, porn, or expands on a character for better or for worse is usually not a single anons fault. The amount of autistic rage it puts some of you in is retarded and makes for easy bait.

2. Some characters. Notably Koakuma, Daiousie, Lilly White, Momiji, Rumia and Ran would be mostly devoid of development had it not be for fandom. Sure its non canon, but these characters would either be a blip or boring.

3. Its pretty unrealistic to assume fans of secondary content have never played a main series touhou game. They all are super easy to pirate and with the exception of the PC-98 games. Can be played once you extract it from its winrar archive. Even if they have played only EoSD they still played a main series 2hu game.
