I'd assume they continue to grow with age, (like a reptile) where it dramatically slows at maturity. So it would vary from individual.

I would apply the logic I use to Lamia size calculation, finding the "human size" then adding "tail length". The average Lamia would likely have the human body of roughly 5'10 to 6'2+, with a tail roughly 33feet+ (scaled from larger species of anacondas that have thickness very close to being able to "fit" a human torso.)

Taking this logic, the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar was only a portion larger then Alice, who is a child. I would go out on a limb and say the average wonderworm would be significantly larger due to it's mature body. However, still farm smaller then a Lamia. Let's say again, baseline it's a body of a 5'8 woman, caterpillars are much shorter in length, so I'd assume she be 6'4 tall, 26 feet long.
