Pic related to both ideas.
Nature has so many aspects though. Sometimes it takes the form of animal photos, simple rainy days, or long hikes through the local Alaskan mountain vistas.
Other days it's learning in terms of raw mathematics and fun conceptual science. I love chemistry, computation, and optics. Our world is so full of small marvels.
I often toy around with how I would potentially meet a wife in a magical setting.
Something about the idea of her being as depressed and lonely as me is deeply appealing, as though once we found each other we could sit in silence and share more joy than the most raucous party.
Maybe I find her in an online game and slowly tease her into being more bold until she's wet as a fountain.
Perhaps we meet at work and hit it off, commiserating and bantering before joining at the hip.
Whatever the case, we'd never want to let each other go, in life or death, no matter what happened, because we'd know the pain of solitude.
Alas, we're doomed to continue as such. I walk now into my third decade having gone eight years without touching human skin outside of doctor appointments and business transactions.
