The other day I was reading about tulpas and came across someone mentioning how apparently they can grow stronger over time, and even take control of the host body if they manage to gain enough power. Since they're a separate consciousness that exists alongside your own in your mind, your brain can chose to give it autonomy over your body if it becomes the dominant personality and you effectively become a voice in your own head. I also read how it's possible to destroy a tulpa with enough effort by diminishing it and then ignoring it until it effectively fades from the mind. This then made me realize an ethical form of suicide. I can create a Watame tulpa and feed her power and control until she becomes the dominant personality and is able to control the body, then I can have her erase my consciousness and I will "die" in a sense.It would probably take a while since due to how the brain works it'll have already trained itself with my personality for most of my life, so those synaptic links will be hard to undo, but I believe with enough time it should still be possible.It's a safe suicide and no one would even know. Really, the only hard part would be convincing Watame to erase me, she'd probably be too kind to go through with it fully.
