And even in pofv, she does clearly start fights on her own. Claims responsibility for the incident more than once. As you can also see in >>32988421 the yama was alarmed by how belligerent she was.

I don't think the contradictions are a bad thing, really. I think it's actually a sign she's a very good character actually. She is well-written enough to be multifaceted while still being consistent enough that people *do* end up getting certain impressions of her. But regardless, I have yet to see anyone really tie in everything together without just outright omitting certain information.
