It's still just a tech demo. Katsuhiro Harada, the guy making the game(and the guy at the end of the trailer too) says that the project almost got cancelled last year because Namco didn't want to fund it. But he lobbied hard to get it made and so far this is what they've created.

The E3 demo was made to see how the videogaming community would react to it, and judging from the 500k views the trailer got, I'd say he succeeded.
