But those days of quiet determination and struggle couldn't last forever. As you were in the office one day, just trying to pretend everything was normal and do your work, Aya was checking the mail. Then all the color left her face. Fearing the worst, you get up to see her. In the pile of normal bills and letters, there's an especially fancy, dare you say gaudy letter. With the high quality paper, sealed shut with an ornate wax seal, and with the addresses written in a practiced elegant style, you get the feeling however sent the letter is very important. "This seal, it's from the Daitengu, Iizunamaru. If she's contacting me directly, then it's bad" After hesitating, she slices open the letter and reads the contents. Her expression does not improve. "She wants to meet you directly, today" Despite not knowing anything about this Iizunamaru, her tone tells you everything. "Oh" is all you manage to say. Aya slumps further in her seat, dropping the letter to her desk. "A Daitengu's orders are absolute. No one under them can refuse their orders.They'll hunt us down if we ignore this" You place a hand on her shoulder. "I guess we have no other choice then" Aya looks down at the letter, as if hoping there would be some sort of escape clause to it. "No. No we don't" Resigned to your fates, you and Aya spend the next few hours in near silence, finishing things up and refreshing up so you'll at least look your best at the dreaded meeting, then you head out.

You arrive at an ostentatious manor that belays the importance and wealth of the owner. A foxgirl waits outside the doors. Seeing you, she gives you a little bow. "Greetings, Sir Anon and Miss Shameimaru. I am Tsukasa Kudamaki, simple servant of Master Iizunamaru. We have been waiting for you. Come." Spinning on the balls of her feet, she opens the doors and motions you inside. The manor is even more impressive on the inside, but you don't have time to gawk as Tsukasa guides you through. "Please remember to show the proper respect, and answer her truthfully. I'm sure you'll come to an understanding if you listen to what she has to say." Stopping at a room, she opens it for you . Inside what seems to be some sort of meeting room, you see a few tengu lounging around. Your eyes are drawn to one clad in blue that seems to radiate power. You guess this is the boss. Tsukasa slips by you and gives another bow to the tengu. "Miss Iizunamaru, your guests. Sir Anon and Miss...." She clicks and tongue and rolls her hand about, as if she just happened to forget her name. "Aya Shameimaru" Aya responds, knowing better then to show any irritation. Aya bows towards the daitengu, and you decide it's best to do so as well. "Very well, Shameimaru, you can leave. I'll discuss things with Anon" Aya's head snaps up. "But I.." Aya tries to protest, but falls silent when the daitengu raises her hand. Under to hold back a giggle, Tsukasa leans forward. "Perhaps you don't understand. She has matters to discuss with the human alone" she sneers. "I'm sure you can find something to do with your time. You can have the human back later" Aya looks around the room, and her hand balls into a fist for a moment. With a quiet sigh, she relaxes her fist and looks you in the eyes. "I guess this is it then, I'll...see you" Looking back at you, Aya follows Tsukasa outside, leaving you alone with the other tengu.

I'd don't really care about newspaper, but I don't want to see Aya sad, The choice is not easy to made.
