Even if she doesn't have confidence in her ability to deliver an actual idol-like performance, she really did. I don't know if she talked about it since I'm not a member but I know Subaru said how much of a confidence boost this live was. Duck went from doubting she'll pull it off (especially being the center, between two much more popular holos) to feeling like she actually has confidence now. I can imagine it's the same for Pekora. She also might not believe in her character, the way she's seen by the world, but she unironically makes a cute idol with her sweet voice and very girly mannerism.

There's no secret to why Kirameki Rider was so impactful, again going by Subaru's talk today she really loves it and went all out on it, in the end all three of them did. I can understand how you feel, my heart was filled with pride watching it, everything else was good but that was just special.
