Originally the Dormouse appeared in Alice in Wonderland, under the name "眠りネズミ" or "ヤマネ".
She participated in the mad tea party with the March Hare and Mad Hatter.
The original tale's version was constantly drowsy and sleepy, singing songs while half asleep, and getting shoved in the teapot by the March Hare and Mad Hatter.
In addition, there are real-life animals named Dormice (ヤマネ) with very long hibernation periods, spending more than half of the year asleep.

Like the original, the Encyclopedia's Dormouse is constantly sleeping, but their power as a monster is at its strongest precisely when they are asleep, and they can tempt men just by being asleep, and make them have sex with such a sinful looking girl (in the lolicon sense) by their own volition.
