Her rough design is still the same, and I really tried to get as much black and red in there as possible, making her look super ominous, but not hideous. Her skin color really shines in contrast to her armor!

The design of the sword and armor were themed after biological armor. While they're like metal, they have patterns similar to blood vessels that stand out, giving them an appearance not dissimilar to a living thing.
In various spots, there's red lights and liquids. It's the kind of magic glow you should be familiar with by now. It's quite obviously styled to look like blood, and the liquid has a kind of sticky, muddy viscosity to it as far as consistency goes. The red part of the blade was meant to look like it could be either metal, or magic. A small, ambiguous element that makes you wrack your mind trying to figure it out.
